hanifah talking about the older sistas
as one of those older ones, i really LOVE hearing this sista talk about how we learn fro each other and support each other at all ages. sometimes it's hard, as we get older, to find ways to give that energy that we have to give, and we yearn to give it. and some of us can forget that we are not only teachers, but lifelong learners, from old, young, all our people. thank you, hanifah!

Wow that was real. lately I have been communing with the elders in my building and its been great. Its connected me to a generation of hope and at times here lately I have needed that. My grandma is 81 and she is holding it DOWN and passing on her wisdom. Now my next quest is to connect with a senior lesbian and get that story of life.
